💖 Tour de Herz: Cycling for a good cause!

🚴‍♂️ Since 2015, the Tour de Herz has been the ultimate event for those who want to pedal with a purpose, combining physical endurance with heartfelt charity. Together we move hearts – in the truest sense of the word! We raise funds for children’s heart operations in emerging countries.

🚴‍♂️Last year, alongside the regular Tour de Herz, we introduced the Tour de Herz Unsupported! Unlike the regular event that takes 200 participants from Passau to Vienna, the Unsupported Tour allows you to complete your own route anywhere you choose, either alone or with friends.

🚴‍♂️ There is no entry fee or minimum donation target. However, we encourage you to aim for the regular Tour de Herz’s minimum fundraising goal of 500 euros. The objective is to gather donations from your friends and acquaintances, allowing many to contribute to something significant.

What is the Tour de Herz Unsupported?

🌍 Cycling for hearts that want to beat!

On June 21, 2025, passionate cyclists will tackle an impressive 310 km in one day on a route of their choice. You can ride alone or with up to 10 friends. If your country’s terrain does not allow you to cycle a 310 km route, then participants can bike 15 hours in a route of their choice. 15 hours is equivalent to the duration that regular Tour de Herz participants take to bike from Passau to Vienna. The Tour de Herz Unsupported therefore enables participants to get involved from any part of the world!

The Tour de Herz Unsupported is about more than just athletic achievement – we are committed to pursuing a life-changing mission together.

🤝 Together for children’s heart operations in emerging countries

As a non-profit organization, our primary goal is to raise funds for life-saving heart surgeries for children in emerging countries like Bolivia or India. Every pedal stroke brings us closer to giving children a chance at a healthy life. Your participation truly matters!

💙 Easy donations: the QR code for hope

Herz bewegt creates personalized fundraising campaigns for all participants, accessible via a simple QR code. Your friends, family, and supporters can easily contribute, bringing hope to hearts in need. We’ll support you with fundraising tips and resources, of course.

Herz bewegt also holds the Austrian donation seal of approval.

Frequently asked Questions

Do I have to cycle exactly on June 21, 2025 and does it really have to be 310km?

To really feel part of the Tour de Herz, we recommend that you complete your adventure on the day of the regular Tour de Herz. However, if this is not possible, you can also complete your Tour de Herz Unsupported BEFORE June 21, 2025 or on June 22, 2025 at the latest. As a target for the route length, we ask you to aim for at least the magical 300km mark.

Which routes are possible?

The Tour de Herz can be ridden all over the world. The prerequisite is, of course, that you comply with the road traffic regulations and applicable laws and do not put yourself or others in danger.

Donation Status for the Tour de Herz 2024

Our unique race jersey

This year, by popular demand, there will be a unique, sustainably produced race jersey from Trikoterie in Vienna for the first time. The design differs slightly from that of the regular Tour de Herz. This jersey can also be worn in the regular Tour de Herz if you decide to take part in the Tour de Herz in the coming years. We can offer it in men’s and women’s cuts for a contribution towards expenses of 85€. You are welcome to try it on in our office during opening hours or you can follow the size chart below.
